Gene Berg Oil Sump

Deep Sumps are a must for any 'mild to wild' performance engine. From as mild to a 009, twin carbed equipped engines with a performance exhaust! The extension to the sump allows a larger quantity of oil to be added to the engine, eliminating oil starvation from the engine. CNC cut from 356 Aluminium, heat treated to T-6, featuring 3/8 thick walled flanges, being the strongest on the market. Minimal affect to ground clearance, reducing only by about 1 3/4 inches from stock. Utilises stock gaskets and stock VW sump plate. Designed to clear Gene Berg Traction Bars.
